Nayra means "eye" in Aymara, one of the ancestral languages of the Andes.
It can also refer to what lies before us, while carrying the memory of what has already been lived and seen.
For us, it beautifully reflects the way we travel: looking ahead while honoring what came before.

Having traveled, lived and worked across different parts of the world, we have learned what truly matters when you're far from home. Every journey we create is shaped by that experience — with care, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to make every moment feel just right.

Born in Puno Peru, I have always been curious about the world around me. I first began studying Law, but studying tourism became much more like a purpose.
There was something deeply rewarding about seeing travelers smile, watching them discover my country, connecting with my people and its places and knowing they would return home full of deep memories From that feeling, Nayra was born.
Travel was different then so my curiosity took me across Peru, from familiar paths to places far beyond them, and eventually beyond its borders. Living and travelling abroad gave me the chance to see Peru from the outside and with other eyes— what it feels like to arrive somewhere unfamiliar, what makes you feel cared for, and how much the smallest details can shape an experience.
That curiosity has never left me. It continues to inspire the way we create journeys at Nayra today
